Pat Boddy

Pat Boddy spent fifteen years in private communications consulting as researcher, producer and scriptwriter. Her scripts and productions include the regional Emmy-winning Stop It! Students Speak Out about Sexual Harassment and the National Education Association’s Broadcast Excellence Winner A Class of Their Own (focused on single-gender classrooms), produced in association with Iowa Public Television.

She was host and co-producer for nine seasons of Iowa Public Television’s weekly interview program, Touchstone with Pat Boddy. She’s currently Executive Director of the Polk County Conservation Board and continues working with her writing partner Dave DeBord on a series of scripts they have in the works.

Pat is also a harpist and songwriter with the Des Moines area band “Door #3.” Pat has been married for three decades to journalist Rob Davis and they have two children.
